The Women Specific attribute can have only two values: "Yes" or "No". If the value is "Yes" it means that the bicycle is specifically conceived for women. All products tagged as "No", can perfectly be used by women, but they are not specifically designed for them.

Since the first years of 2000, several main bicycle brands pointed more and more attention to products that are designed and produced to match the very demands of the she-riders, and following this trend, even some women-only brands were born.

The Frame Material attribute refers to the main material used for the construction of the frame. You can find a few Manufacturers that build frames using more than one material (e.g. Carbon + Aluminium). This solution is often used for building the “triangle” out of one material and the “swing arm” out of another one, and this allows to obtain different handling behaviors and/or to make savings on the production costs. Some bike models, mainly from the past, had one-piece frames built combining two materials.
