Pinarello was founded in 1953 by pro-cyclist Giovanni “Nani” Pinarello in Treviso, Italy. He started his own venture after his team decided to take him off the Giro d’Italia selection.
Not taking part in the Giro allowed Nani to realize his dream of setting up his own bike-business and workshop, where he manufactured all of his bikes by hand.
He began by supplying mostly his hand-made bicycles for the road and track category, and then the company started producing E-bikes, mountain bikes and cyclocross bikes.
BRAND FEATURES/CATEGORY
Although the Pinarello bikes are a relatively new brand in the Italian bike community, the company is popular for its production of high performance bikes, across a broad range of categories.
Pinarello bikes have been ridden by a number of top pro teams, including Team GB, Telekom, Banesto, Movistar and Team Ineos.
The company also produces some of its bikes under the Opera brand name, and has an in-house component brand.
In 2010, the brand entered into a sponsorship agreement with Team Sky; making the Pinarello Dogma the team’s chosen ride.

Wether you're a cycling professional or just a rocky, you can still delight in Pinarello's groundbreaking designs, their hardheaded attention to detail in production, and their delicious paint and finish-work.
