In 1998, Jacob Csizmadia broke the world record for 24hr inline skating – using skates equipped with ceramic ball bearings. Two years later at the Tour de France, he introduced ceramic bearings to professional cycling by going on tour with Team CSC where ceramic bearings were used for the very first time.
This winning mentality is how it all started, and it’s been the guiding principle that continues to drive Ceramicspeed forward till today.
