Description

The new Chisel was specifically designed to attack demanding XC Trails and racing courses at top speeds. It incorporates many of the modern features of its larger sibling, the Epic Hardtail, making it the most efficient and capable aluminum hardtail on the market. And all in an inexpensive set, consisting of a frame, seat post and all important frame parts. With this frame set you can build your new Chisel exactly how you want it. As a robust cross country shredder with high-end features? Oh yeah! Or would you prefer something a little easier on your wallet? No problem, upgrade it bit by bit. This frameset is the perfect platform to carve your own path to XC racing. We asked ourselves: “How can we offer high-end performance at a price that more riders can afford?” With D'Aluisio's Smartweld technology, this is possible. With Smartweld we can create extremely durable and stable welds while taking full advantage of the compliant, hydroformed aluminum tubes. The result? At 1,350g, the Chisel frame is one of the lightest aluminum hardtail frames on the market, with stiffness tailored to its size. The new Chisel has all the modern features you would expect from an XC MTB: Progressive XC geometry with a 68° head tube angle and longer reach, internal cable routing, threaded bottom bracket (BSA), Boost axle standard, dropper seat post compatibility of 30.9 mm diameter and the orientation solely on 1-fold drive systems.

Size

If you are on a listing page, in this field you will find all the available sizes for that specific product. If you are instead on an ad page, this field reports the Size of the spedific product that is for sale.

The Size is one of the most important information for choosing the best fitting product to your body. Wehtere it is a bicycle or gear. Speaking about bike clothing and shoes, sizes follow the international size charts, but when it comes to bicycles and frames it is not possible to define a standard. Bicycles and frames come in many different shapes and geometries and this results in several sizing methods. As a general rule, though, you can assume that road bicycles are sized by the lenght the seat tube in centimeters (52, 54, 56, ...) and mountain bikes are instead sized by the S,M,L, ... rule. Our advice, is to look carefully at the sizing chart you can find in our product pages, but to be sure you are choosing the best fit for you, always refer to your trusted dealer or shop, because he is the one who is the one who can assist you at best for this purpose.

Eureka SKU

The Eureka SKU is a universal product code (UPC) that univocally defines a specific product in the bicycles' market.

Sharing the Eureka SKU of a listing bicycle, for example, means to indicate a very well-defined combination of Brand, Model, Mounting, and Model Year parameters that define a single bike model and no one else. The Eureka SKU of an Ad product, instead, is built from other information that guarantees it is still unique compared to all present, past, and future products managed by EurekaBike.

Manufacturer Code

The Manufacturer Code is a unique code that defines a particular Model from the side of the producer or brand. Often, this code can be found in manufacturers' catalogs or websites, but due to producers not adopting always the same standards, when the Manufacturer Code is not available, at EurekaBike we give the product an internally created Manufacturer Code based on the defining parameters of the product itself.
