Description

The Demo Race stands for maximum speed on the most demanding downhill tracks. And the new design of the frame lets you decide whether you ride a 29 or 27.5 inch rear wheel. Although Loïc Bruni won both the World Championship and the overall title in the new Demo's very first season in a full 29er setup, he has since been testing mullet setups in search of the perfect balance of grip and agility. And thus leaves a lot of dust on the track for the competition. From now on you will also receive the demo race out of the box in the mullet setup. However, the FlipChip on the chainstay allows you to choose between 27.5 and 29 inch rear wheels depending on the terrain and riding style. At the same time, it regulates the length of the chainstays and the height of the bottom bracket. So that nothing can stop you on the most difficult tracks, our engineers have developed a very special chassis. Because the rear wheel axle travels backwards in the upper spring travel, the rear wheel lifts over curb-like obstacles instead of getting stuck on them. This is how you get the all-important seconds. The kinematics, which have been tested in World Cups, are supported by high-end suspension elements from Öhlins, while you can shift through the gears safely and quickly between the start and finish line with the X01 drive from SRAM, which was specially developed for downhillers.

Size

If you are on a listing page, in this field you will find all the available sizes for that specific product. If you are instead on an ad page, this field reports the Size of the spedific product that is for sale.

The Size is one of the most important information for choosing the best fitting product to your body. Wehtere it is a bicycle or gear. Speaking about bike clothing and shoes, sizes follow the international size charts, but when it comes to bicycles and frames it is not possible to define a standard. Bicycles and frames come in many different shapes and geometries and this results in several sizing methods. As a general rule, though, you can assume that road bicycles are sized by the lenght the seat tube in centimeters (52, 54, 56, ...) and mountain bikes are instead sized by the S,M,L, ... rule. Our advice, is to look carefully at the sizing chart you can find in our product pages, but to be sure you are choosing the best fit for you, always refer to your trusted dealer or shop, because he is the one who is the one who can assist you at best for this purpose.

Eureka SKU

The Eureka SKU is a universal product code (UPC) that univocally defines a specific product in the bicycles' market.

Sharing the Eureka SKU of a listing bicycle, for example, means to indicate a very well-defined combination of Brand, Model, Mounting, and Model Year parameters that define a single bike model and no one else. The Eureka SKU of an Ad product, instead, is built from other information that guarantees it is still unique compared to all present, past, and future products managed by EurekaBike.

Manufacturer Code

The Manufacturer Code is a unique code that defines a particular Model from the side of the producer or brand. Often, this code can be found in manufacturers' catalogs or websites, but due to producers not adopting always the same standards, when the Manufacturer Code is not available, at EurekaBike we give the product an internally created Manufacturer Code based on the defining parameters of the product itself.
