With a private event dedicated to a selected public inside the elegant location Villa La Personala in Mirandola (MO), on June 21st, 2023, Nextale unveiled a preview of its first suspension bike: the Nextale Spectrum.
Nextale Spectrum: luxury and technology with no compromise
At its presentation, Spectrum has been called iconic.
An aluminum eMTB that the Italian brand Nextale explicitly wanted to position in the luxury segment and that differs from all other all-mountain electric bicycles for uncompromising technological solutions.
For example, the choice to build the vertical tube directly by machining with CNC milling and deep drilling processes.
Or the steering tube, also obtained entirely from several-hours process on a 6-axis CNC milling machine.
Most people would wonder if these technological gems have any real advantages in terms of riding. At EurekaBike - we were lucky enough to test the bicycle in preview - we can say that yes, absolutely, the design choices used on all Nextale electric bicycles and, in particular on the brand-new Spectrum, for various reasons, they really stand out: both when the bicycle is moving and when it is placed in a living room.
This frame gives the bicycle qualities of lightness, but above all a versatility of use that is so far unknown. At the same time, a stiffness and precision of the front-end that is definetly at the level of the best latest-generation carbon bicycles.
Nextale's construction philosophy is to draw heavily on the forty-year experience of the mother company Vierrevi srl in the field of mechanical machining for motorsport (Formula 1), aerospace applications and those dedicated to the biomedical and automation industries.
From this vision new solutions come, such as the CNC-machined seat tube which allows for a drastic increase in the lateral stiffness of the rear-end and the use of bushings (very light and perfectly suitable for use) instead of the classic bearings to ensure the smoothness of the rear-end.

Excellent mounting for Spectrum R and S
With a frame that has these premises, you can only expect a mounting of the same value.
Therefore, at the presentation, the R version (Braking F.I.R.S.T., carbon wheels and SRAM Eagle XX1 AXS electronic shifters) and the S version (Magura MT7, aluminum wheels and SRAM Eagle XX1) were unveiled.
Both these models feature FOX Factory Kashima suspensions and details ranging from the Race Face Next Carbon handlebar, to the Kashima dropper, availble as standard on the R version.
The accurate choice of components was also driven by the will of creating an exclusive vehicle, as much as possible in Italian style. In this regard, the main feature is the powerful Polini EP3+ MX Evo 2023 motor and its battery kit, a real torque monster, given the addition of 5Nm to the already deadly Polini MX Evo in the 2022 version.
And that's not all. Nextale guarantees that Spectrum will be 100% customizable according to the tastes of the lucky customers who want to take advantage of the Nextale consultancy service, with a dedicated expert who is there to help defining the particular mounting of each bicycle, down to the smallest detail.
Each Spectrum is designed to embody the soul of its owner and is set up according to the taste of those who want it: a work of art with a unique identity.
