Description
In 1946, Gaston Lapierre started a small bicycle business in Dijon, France.
In 1972, Lapierre opened up a new factory in the industrial zone of Dijon to accommodate increased production numbers. In addition to the production plant, a separate building was also dedicated specifically for spare parts sales, complete with a new showroom for the bike collection.
For more than 70 years, Lapierre have combined technological innovation, aesthetics, attention to detail and experience in the most important cycling races to offer the most beautiful and efficient bikes to cycling enthusiasts all over the world.

In mountain biking, standards are constantly changing and improving, this is why the R&D team at Lapierre is committed to rigorously testing new standards in order to decide which should be adapted to the ride experience.

All the Lapierre bikes are handmade/assembled in France, under strict standards by builders, who continously sign a bike pass that is delivered with each bike, and makes for easy quality control at every stage of the assembly process.
