Sizes

If you are on a listing page, in this field you will find all the available sizes for that specific product. If you are instead on an ad page, this field reports the Size of the spedific product that is for sale.

The Size is one of the most important information for choosing the best fitting product to your body. Wehtere it is a bicycle or gear. Speaking about bike clothing and shoes, sizes follow the international size charts, but when it comes to bicycles and frames it is not possible to define a standard. Bicycles and frames come in many different shapes and geometries and this results in several sizing methods. As a general rule, though, you can assume that road bicycles are sized by the lenght the seat tube in centimeters (52, 54, 56, ...) and mountain bikes are instead sized by the S,M,L, ... rule. Our advice, is to look carefully at the sizing chart you can find in our product pages, but to be sure you are choosing the best fit for you, always refer to your trusted dealer or shop, because he is the one who is the one who can assist you at best for this purpose.

Description

RLT 9 Aluminum. Ride beyond the city limits, without going beyond your budget. The unmatched versatility of this gravel bike gives its rider pure, unfettered freedom and access virtually everywhere. Sprint from asphalt to cinder path, swerve onto some singletrack, cut across to a gravel road, unspool a few miles, hop a gutter, cut through the alley, and back into the bike lane. Adventure awaits... all aboard aluminum. The RLT 9 maximizes your freedom and access to the Road Less Traveled. With affordable, high performing materials, elegant engineering, and a fully-featured frameset, there’s nothing stopping you from achieving your off road aspirations. There’s no surface that can’t be ridden, no side roads that must be skipped. And best of all, the RLT 9 offers unbeatable value at every level. Niner’s 6061 aluminum RLT 9 is welded with hydroformed aluminum tubing. This material is universally praised for affordability and versatility. Before welding, we are careful to shape the tubing to optimize strength, durability, stiffness, all the while keeping it as lightweight as possible. The latest version of our vaunted aluminum gravel frame features a new, forged chainstay yoke to improve tire clearance and stiffness. This design leaves us with an elegant and simple multi-talented platform. Fork in the road? No problem with RDO carbon out front. Upfront, the RLT 9 features our all-new RDO carbon fiber fork. It’s made from our famous Race Day Optimized carbon fiber, which is built with a unique process that optimizes complete compaction of the carbon layers under heat and pressure. By maximizing the carbon-to-resin ratio in the finished product, we keep this fork light and stiff while improving compliance over rough surfaces. The brake hose is routed internally through a fully sleeved guide tube, which mean no more fishing for wires. Multiple rack, fender, and cargo mounts make light work of heavy loads. The 12x100mm thru-axle and flat mount disc brake attachments are compatible with contemporary components. Finally, for fully off-grid adventures, the new fork features internal wire routing and fitment for a hub dynamo powered light. Choose your wheels, choose your adventure. With more tire clearance than ever before, the RLT 9 can accommodate tires as wide as 700x50c. And if you prefer smaller diameter wheels with wider rubber, interchangeability is easy. Simply swap to 650b wheels and fit tires as wide as 2.0. Everyone has a different reason for the ride. Durable, affordable aluminum is ideal for a range of rides. Anything is possible - from ripping around campus to a cross-continent cruise, the RLT 9 has it handled. Frame features fit for going farther. The RLT 9 is made for gravel roads around the world. And if you’re serious about literally riding anywhere in the world, this bike will get you there. Multiple mounting points on the frame give you the option to fit bottles, bags, racks, fenders, and frankly, almost any accessory that could be bolted to your bike. Custom bags mounted to the frame won’t require straps, and gear of all sorts can ride along with you. Internal cable routing keeps the frame looking tidy. Combined with a PF30 bottom bracket shell, it’s easy to fit a geared or singlespeed drivetrain, and either mechanical or electronic shifting. And if your rides tend to take a turn for the rowdy, there’s even room to fit a dropper post. Our high end 4-star Shimano GRX 800 2-chainring kit starts with Shimano's flagship, gravel-specific GRX 800 drivetrain. It's paired with DT Swiss wheels, Schwalbe tires, and an Easton crankset and handlebar to make one of the best gravel-grinding packages available. Shimano GRX800 2-chainring drivetrain, DT Swiss G 1800 SPLINE 25 wheels, Niner RDO carbon seatpost

Brand

A product's Brand is an identifying mark that defines the manufacturer of that particular product.

Model Year

The Model Year value corresponds the reference year when a specific product has been put on sale on the market. Note that bicycle manufacturers use to present the models that you will find on sale in the next year in the period July-December ot the current year. You will also hear speaking about "Catalogs" and this is pretty much the same as "Model Year". This expression comes from the past, when pretty much every manufacturer was printing paper catalogs where they used to collect all the available bicycle models for a specific year. So, in the current language you will still hear speaking about "Bike XYZ from the Catalog 2021", as well as "Bike XYZ Model Year 2021".

Categories

Bicycles can be categorized in infinite ways. Every online shop and Brand's website uses a different categorization. At EurekaBike we have been monitoring the bicycles' and eBikes' market for years and, after an in-depth study, we decided to create e category system which is the most rational possible, and that we would like to propose as a reference for the sector. Probably that is not the best for everyone's needs, but the familiarity everyone has with Categories is also a matter of habits. Through EurekaBike category system we are able to collect tenths of thousands of bicycles in a quick and unique way: each and every bicycle model is associated to one and one only Category and, for this, you will never find overlapping cases. After years of testing, we believe that this system is the best way to collect potentially all the bicycles existing in the World, in a way that everyone, from the more expert to the rookie, will be able to easily find them.

Women Specific

The Women Specific attribute can have only two values: "Yes" or "No". If the value is "Yes" it means that the bicycle is specifically conceived for women. All products tagged as "No", can perfectly be used by women, but they are not specifically designed for them.

Since the first years of 2000, several main bicycle brands pointed more and more attention to products that are designed and produced to match the very demands of the she-riders, and following this trend, even some women-only brands were born.

Kids Specific

The Kid Specific attribute can only have two values: "Yes" or "No". If the value is "Yes", it means that the bicycle is specifically designed for children or kids under the age of 14. Since the physiognomy of children and teenagers is very variable, we advise you to consider this parameter as an indication and always to consult your trusted shop to find out if the bicycle you are interested in is right for your child in terms of type and size, for the intended use.

Frame Material

The Frame Material attribute refers to the main material used for the construction of the frame. You can find a few Manufacturers that build frames using more than one material (e.g. Carbon + Aluminium). This solution is often used for building the “triangle” out of one material and the “swing arm” out of another one, and this allows to obtain different handling behaviors and/or to make savings on the production costs. Some bike models, mainly from the past, had one-piece frames built combining two materials. To do this they joined, for example, carbon tubes with aluminum joints, applying aerospace gluing technologies.

Manufacturer code

The Manufacturer Code is a unique code that defines a particular Model from the side of the producer or brand. Often, this code can be found in manufacturers' catalogs or websites, but due to producers not adopting always the same standards, when the Manufacturer Code is not available, at EurekaBike we give the product an internally created Manufacturer Code based on the defining parameters of the product itself.

Eureka SKU

The Eureka SKU is a universal product code (UPC) that univocally defines a specific product in the bicycles' market.

Sharing the Eureka SKU of a listing bicycle, for example, means to indicate a very well-defined combination of Brand, Model, Mounting, and Model Year parameters that define a single bike model and no one else. The Eureka SKU of an Ad product, instead, is built from other information that guarantees it is still unique compared to all present, past, and future products managed by EurekaBike.
